  I never saw Ethyl Meatplow, but I saw Carla several times with The Geraldine Fibbers. A musician from my record label (pervertidora) is good friends with her, but I haven't met her. Years ago, some friends of mine in a band called "Poppy" opened for The Geraldine Fibbers, and that was my first exposure to her music.

    thats cool, I kinda lost touch after E M P.
    I do have the mike watt cd thats shes on.

      I never bought the Mike Watt cd, but I have heard it. I saw Mike Watt in concert a long time ago. The guy kills bass guitars. A friend of mine had to loan his bass to him at a show once after he killed all his own basses. I like Mike Watt live on stage okay, but unfortunately I don't think I'd play a cd very often.

          Mike Watt is a nice, down to earth guy. I guess I sort of met him with a group of people drinkin beer at The Catalyst in Santa Cruz after he performed...he remembered my friend who had loaned him his bass...that was down in L.A...I want to actually meet Carla someday!

            Oh ya, me too.
            If i met mike I'd be all " good after noon mike, whats that on yer shirt?"(rockstars allways fall for that)
            If I met Carla, I would instently transform into a teen age girl. She'd probly walk up to me and say" whats that on yer shirt?" I'd fall for it and when she walked away laughing I'd feel realy dumb. Then later I'd tell all my friends she was coming on to me.
