Hello, chums.
A few things going on... First and worst - the European tour about which I neglected to give you the tourdates - has been canceled except for one and possibly one more date in Switzerland. The Night Porter had a whole tour booked w/ SC3 and Sleepytime which fell apart at the ripe old time of last week. I'm still playing (it looks like solo) in Dudingen, Switzerland at the festival Bad Bonn Kilbey on June 10th, and probably June 11th in Luzern at BOA Kulturhallen. I'll play anywhere if anyone wants to set it up or jump me onto a show. I'd like to end up in Amsterdam on June 23rd and 24th because Fibbers' violinist and world citizen Leyna Papach has created - and is directing - a music/theatre/dance performance those nights and I want to be there. A few shows not too far apart from each other and I could stay. It's too late to book through normal channels but e-mail me if you have an idea.
10th June: Düdingen (near Fribourg) @ Bad Bonn Festival www.badbonn.ch
11th June: Luzern @ BOA Kulturhallen
For those who knew about the tour w/ Sleepytime and SC3, I would check their websites cuz I don't think they'll be at Bad Bonn, in fact Sleepytime has definitely canceled and SC3 is... well, MIA. The festival is going to be great, though. I've performed solo only a few times but I'll have doubled that in a month. Very economical, if not scary as hell. My voice is so... nude. Ha! I laugh in the face of danger!! To those who don't like to hear me speak of fear or other more mortal conditions because it sullies their image of me grinding a dirty boot into their face (I get commentaries on these newsletters), please click the "unsubscribe" link.
Three more shows are booked:

Music In A Small Resonant Train Station Waiting Room is a guerilla event I've been aiming to put on for a long time. Show up at the little train station in Glendale, CA on Sunday, May 8th at 3:00. There'll be a bunch of us singing and playing, sometimes together, different combos, etc. You can sing, too. The room is absurdly resonant. That's where the idea came from. I was struck by the resonance as I showed up night after night last year chasing after trains--- recording them for the Fever Dreams performance at the Getty. The thing is, with those acoustics no amplification is necessary. So rare. Normally singing without being filtered through a bunch of wires is also scary to me, but in that room it pretty much swims huge with sound. We'll be there until sundown or so. There's always the chance someone will try to throw us out, but we'll blindside them with the effervescent manna of song. This show is really "all ages" as I think there's about a 30-year span from youngest to oldest musician. It's free. You're encouraged to take the train or Metrolink to the station. The musicians, as it stands, are Gowns, Adele Bertei, Whitman, Badwater Bob, Garrett Devoe, Shahzad Ismaily, Kaveh Rastegar, and Jeremy Drake. My pal Steak will oversee the proceedings.

Lastly, Ches and I have sent our new CD to a few labels and I've also sent out some live Night Porter tracks to a few good labels. Keep your fingers crossed that these will be sorted out easy and fast.
And, as my booking agent in Switzerland, Pascal, says, "Good-bye. We will see us very soon."
